TEAM UKYOは、「日本国籍のチームとして史上初めてツール・ド・フランスに出場し、表彰台に登ること」を最大目標としている。2024年からイタリアに拠点を構え、欧州を主戦場として戦っている。TOJでは個人総合時間賞4連覇中であり、今年もホームレースの信州飯田ステージと相模原ステージを中心に、日本のファンの前で走れることを楽しみながら5連覇を目指す。
TEAM UKYO's ultimate goal is to become the first Japanese team in history to compete in the Tour de France and stand on the podium. Based in Italy since 2024, the team has been racing primarily on the European circuit. At the Tour of Japan, TEAM UKYO is the reigning four-time winner of the general classification, and this year the team looks forward to racing in front of home fans once again — particularly at the Shinshu Iida and Sagamihara stages — as they pursue a fifth consecutive title.
