中国のスポーツブランド「李寧（LI-NING）」を冠し、2020年に北京で設立されたUCIコンチネンタルチーム。前身はDocs Cycling Teamで、2021年より現チーム名で活動している。中国代表クラスの若手選手を中心に、ヨーロッパやオセアニアからの実力者も擁する国際色豊かな編成が特徴で、アジアサーキットを主戦場に着実に力をつけてきた。2022年にはツール・ド・青海湖でステージ3勝を挙げ、2025年はツール・ド・ハイナンでもステージ優勝を果たすなど、中国発チームとして国際舞台での存在感を高めている。タイトルスポンサーの李寧は、元オリンピック体操金メダリストの李寧氏が1990年に創業した中国最大級の総合スポーツブランドであり、日本でも大迫傑選手との契約など近年その名を広く知られている。ツアー・オブ・ジャパンへの初参戦となる今大会、ステージ上位と総合成績での躍進を目指す。

I NING STAR CYCLING TEAM is a UCI Continental team based in Beijing, China, founded in 2020 under the banner of LI-NING — one of China's leading sports brands, established in 1990 by Olympic gymnastics champion Li Ning. Originally registered as Docs Cycling Team, the team rebranded under its current name in 2021. The roster blends promising Chinese domestic talents with experienced international riders from Europe and Oceania, making the team a truly global outfit competing primarily on the Asian circuit. The team claimed three stage victories at the Tour of Qinghai Lake in 2022, and continued that momentum with a stage win at the 2025 Tour of Hainan. Making their debut at the Tour of Japan, the team aims to make a strong impression across the stages and the overall classification.
